In 2009, we planted the flag. We invited people to join our movement to “refresh everything.” In 2010 we’re going to kick it up one big notch as we inspire and fuel people to take action and do what we always do at Pepsi—refresh the world.
Gillette Pepsi-Cola Companies is giving up to $100,000.00 to refresh our local communities and make the lives of those around us a little better. In 2010 we’re asking our consumers; “what do you care about?” Whether it’s helping to fund a health care initiative at a hospital in La Crosse, starting an education program with the Mankato Public Schools, planting a community garden in Rochester or stocking a local food bank in Decorah, Gillette Pepsi-Cola Companies is committed to the communities we serve and the individuals who live here. We want you to know we support what you care about.
On May 4 a local youth panel at each division reviewed the first wave of applications and determined the allocation of funds to organizations with ideas that would help move our communities forward.

A second round of Local Pepsi Refresh Project grant winners was decided by a group of area youth and young adults on August 19.

This concludes the general application process for the Local Pepsi Refresh Project in 2010.
Our Local Pepsi Refresh Project is currently closed for applications but you still have a chance to get your idea funded by applying for a National Pepsi Refresh Project grant. Go to refresheverything.com for additional details and an application. Grants are being awarded for $5,000.00, $25,000.00, $50,000.00 and $250,000.00.
